We recognise that non-profit organisations (NPOs) and charities play an important role in our community. Our aim is to make the registration process and ongoing requirements clear and manageable, so organisations can focus on their good work.

To help, we have published joint guidance with the Jersey Charities Commissioner. This guidance explains the definitions of an NPO and a charity, including key differences, common misconceptions and ongoing obligations.
